Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy S25 series smartphones at an event on January 22nd. Recently, the Galaxy S25 Slim, identified by the model number SM-S937U, appeared in benchmark listings, confirming its use of the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy SoC, clocked at up to 4.47GHz, higher than the standard 4.32GHz.

The listing also reveals that the device features 12GB of RAM, runs Android 15, and is expected to come with One UI 7 pre-installed. However, its benchmark scores fall short of those of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which achieved over 10,000 multi-core points compared to the S25 Slim's approximate 7,000. This suggests that the tested unit might be a prototype.

According to earlier rumors, the Galaxy S25 Slim is said to measure just 6.5mm or 6.6mm in thickness, making it the slimmest flagship yet, compared to the 7.2mm thickness of the standard Galaxy S25 model. The device is rumoured to feature a 6.7-inch QHD+ display, a triple camera setup including a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, a 50MP 3.5x telephoto lens, and a 4,700mAh battery.

While the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra are expected to debut later this month, the Galaxy S25 Slim is rumored to be launched separately in the second quarter, potentially in April or May.
