Samsung might reveal its Galaxy S24 series earlier than its usual schedule, potentially in January 2024, according to the report from Seoul Economic Daily. They are considering holding the launch event in San Francisco, the same location where they introduced the Galaxy S23.

The upcoming series is anticipated to consist of three models: the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra, with several intriguing updates in store. One notable change may involve the reintroduction of Exynos chips in their high-end phones. Recently, the Galaxy S24 Ultra has been listed on Geekbench with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, and Android 14.

For most regions, the Galaxy S24 and S24+ are expected to employ Exynos 2400 chips, while Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 versions might be available in Canada, China, and the U.S. The S24 Ultra is slated to exclusively utilize the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The Exynos 2400 chip is anticipated to bring significant performance enhancements.

Reported enhancements include the introduction of a titanium frame for the S24 Ultra, LTPO Dynamic AMOLED 2x displays for all models, and upgraded camera systems. Anticipate exceptionally bright screens capable of reaching up to 2,400 nits. These devices will operate on the Android 14-based One UI 6.1 and receive a minimum of four major Android OS updates.

The Galaxy S24 and S24+ are speculated to feature a 50MP primary rear camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 12MP front camera. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is rumored to showcase a 200MP primary rear camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, a 50MP telephoto camera with 5x zoom (optical), and a 12MP front camera.

Regarding battery capacity, the S24 is expected to house a 4,000mAh battery, the S24+ has a 4,900mAh battery, and the S24 Ultra is likely to retain a 5,000mAh battery, along with S Pen support. Fast charging capabilities are anticipated at 45W for the S24+ and S24 Ultra, and 25W for the S24.

All three models are rumored to offer wireless charging and reverse wireless charging, with the possibility of two-way satellite communication for emergency messaging.
