Samsung has officially started releasing teasers for its next Fan Edition smartphone in the new S23 series the Galaxy S23 FE in India, after several rumours. The teaser reveals a triple rear camera setup, accompanied by the company's statement on its social media platforms: "Epic moments are now within reach. Prepare for the arrival of the new epic." However, the exact launch date of the phone has not been disclosed. The accompanying image also mentions the imminent arrival of "The New Epic."
Although the teaser remains silent on specifics, the phone has recently received certification and made an appearance on the Google Play Console, unveiling the availability of both Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200 chipset options with Model numbers r11q and r11s. It is anticipated that India will receive the Exynos variant, following the precedent set by last year's Galaxy S21 FE launch. Notably, the company recently introduced the Galaxy S21 FE 888 version in India a few weeks ago.
Both versions of the Galaxy S23 FE 5G are listed with 8GB of RAM. Notable specifications highlighted in the Google Play Console listing include the presence of the Android 13 operating system, a Full HD+ screen resolution, and a screen density of 450 DPI. The design of the device is showcased, revealing a triple rear camera setup complete with an LED flash. On the front, there is a center punch-hole cutout.
