Early this month, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra the first live images of the phone have surfaced online by leakster Jon Prosser after the CAD-based renders of the phone surfaced back in September. The last renders revealed a pill-shaped rear camera module, but the live image shows a plain surface with the same placement of the sensors and the flash.
According to the renders, it will feature a 108MP primary camera along with a 12MP ultra-wide, 10MP 3X telephoto, and a 10MP 10X telephoto camera, the same as the predecessor. The image also shows a curved display with a center punch-hole and a square design that resembles the Galaxy Note series. Recently, the latest news coming from South Korea, Samsung has permanently discontinued the Galaxy Note Series to boost the sale of foldable smartphones. The decision was made to stabilize the yield of foldable production and reduce costs by improving process efficiency.
The Image also shows a built-in S Pen slot for the first time in an S series phone, just like the Note series. According to earlier rumors, the phone will have a 6.8-inch curved display and expected a similar Quad HD+ Adaptive 120Hz refresh rate screen. The dimensions of the phone are 163.2 x 77.9 x 8.9~10.5mm (including the camera bump) dimensions and 228-gram weight.
The phone is expected to be run on an upcoming Exynos 2200 or Snapdragon 898 processor depending on the market. It could be powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. The new rumors also said that the Galaxy S22 is expected to come with a Snapdragon chipset in India this time.
Now, the set of screen protectors for the Galaxy S22 series leak online that offers what is probably one of the more reliable reference points in terms of scale yet.
The leakster also revealed that the phone will be launched at an unpacked event on February 8, 2022, along with Galaxy S22 and S22+ with pre-orders starting on the same day, and might be start sales for the global market from February 18, 2022.
