Just last year, Samsung revealed its On series of budget smartphones which did quite well in India. Now the company is looking towards the successor of the Galaxy On5 and On7. Import listings to India for various parts of the Galaxy On7 (2016) appeared online giving us a hint about the specs of the device.
The parts are for a model SM-G610F which should be the successor to the Galaxy On7 (2015) which had the model number SM-G600.
Here's what we gathered from the listing of the Galaxy On7 (2016) SM-G610F:
- 1080p Display (Possibly 5.5-inch in Size)
- Dual-SIM support with a Hybrid Slot
- 13MP Rear Camera, 8MP Front-camera
The previous-gen Galaxy On7 had a 720p display and 13MP/5MP camera combination. So there are some updates to the hardware with the new On7 especially the 1080p display. Being an entry level smartphone, we expect it to run on an Exynos chipset. This is all we have at present on the Galaxy On7 (2016), but given the original was launched in October last year, we may see the successor coming in a few months.
