Yet again, Samsung's mantra of "go big or go bigger" has succeeded with the new Galaxy Note 3, the biggest of the lot with a 5.7-inch 1080p display. Call it hype or marketing, the Galaxy Note 3 has already started creating buzz in the US with AT&T accepting pre-orders, Verizon starting later today and T-Mobile to join in soon on the pre-order front.
AT&T will start shipping the Galaxy Note 3 starting October 1st for $299.99 on a two year contract or $35 a month on the new AT&T Next plan. While T-Mobile will make the Note 3 available through its Simple Choice Plan for $199 up-front and then $21 a month for a period of two years. T-Mobile will start shipping the Note 3 on October 2nd. While the big red, Verizon is still keeping its plans under wraps and has not unveiled its pricing as yet but we expect an announcement today.
The new Note III was unveiled yesterday at IFA 2013 in Berlin amid good first impressions, apart from the Faux leather backcover which in comparison to the slimy GS4 is a bit better. Its faster, thinner, larger and more productive than the Note 2 with a better stylus which can now be inserted omni-directionally.
