Samsung has launched its latest mid-range M series 5G smartphone the Galaxy M53 5G in India, which is the successor of last year’s Galaxy M52 5G. It has a 6.7-inch Infinity-O FHD+ Super AMOLED screen with a 120Hz Refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and a side-mounted fingerprint. It runs on the Dimensity 900 processor with up to 8GB of RAM + an additional 8GB of virtual RAM with the RAM Plus feature, has 128GB of storage, and is based on Android 12 with Samsung One UI 4.1.
It has a quad rear camera setup where a 108MP primary camera after the Galaxy A73 5G, but this lacks OIS, along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera, 2MP depth, and 2MP macro cameras. The front side has a 32MP punch-hole front-facing camera.
According to the company, this will be the first phone in the segment to feature an auto data switching option that lets you make and receive calls or use data from your secondary SIM, even when your primary SIM is in a no network. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging, but it doesn’t come with a charger in the box.
