Samsung is currently developing its latest smartphone the Galaxy M44, which has been seen on the Geekbench listing under the model number SM-M446K. This listing reveals that the phone will come with a Snapdragon 888 SoC, 6GB of RAM, and the Android 13 operating system.
After a year since the release of the Exynos 2100 version in India, Samsung has now launched the Galaxy S21 FE in the country, featuring the Snapdragon 888 SoC.
As a reminder, the smartphone Galaxy M33, featuring the Exynos 1280 SoC, was introduced in Korea under the name Galaxy Jump 2 as an exclusive for Korea Telecom. It is rumored that the SM-M446K model in the M44 series, denoted by the "K" in its number, will soon be released for KT as Galaxy Jump 3 in Korea. Additionally, the Galaxy M34, which was recently launched in India, also runs on the Exynos 1280 SoC.
Going from Exynos 1280 to Snapdragon 888 is a significant leap, especially since it was the flagship SoC utilized in the Galaxy S21 line in certain regions in 2021. Samsung is using a Snapdragon 8 series SoC for the first time in their mid-range M series. The Galaxy M33 has been released globally, but it is uncertain if the M44 will be available in markets beyond Korea.
We should know more details and the full specification of the Samsung Galaxy M44 smartphone in the coming weeks.
