Samsung has launched the Galaxy J5 Prime in India, the smaller version of Galaxy J7 Prime. The Galaxy J5 Prime variant in India comes with a 5.0-inch TFT HD display which is covered in 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 4 and Exynos quad-core processor with 2GB RAM, 16GB storage. There's the fingerprint sensor up front as well and also we are getting a unibody metal construction with a non-removable back-cover.
There's a 13 megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture here and an 5MP front-facing camera. Galaxy J5 Prime packs a 2400 mAh battery and comes with a separate microSD card slot to expand storage. It is a dual-SIM 4G LTE capable smartphone with VoLTE support, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and FM Radio.

The new Galaxy J Prime series also come with S Secure, which allows you to hide apps from the phone. Then you have Secure Folder powered by KNOX which can stores files, apps, borrowed from the Galaxy Note 7. Then there's secure WiFi which encrypts data on the go even when you are on a public network. The Galaxy J5 Prime and Galaxy J7 Prime also feature S-Power Planning mode, which can automatically forward calls when there is no battery left on your phone.
