Samsung has just launched the Galaxy Camera 2 which is powered by Android alongwith the new NX30 mirrorless camera. The Galaxy Camera 2 retains same 16-megapixel sensor as its predecessor with 21x optical zoom alongwith the 4.8-inch touchscreen display. The battery capacity has been bumped to 2000 mAH and the weight lowered to 9.2 ounces (about 260 grams).

But the Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 gets a newer 1.6 GHz quad-core processor with 2 GB RAM and an update to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean alongwith option to record slow motion video at 120 FPS. This time around auto-exposure and auto-focus controls have been separated. NFC "Tag&Go" is another addition which lets you share images immediately alongwith new Remote Viewfinder apps which provide the same settings as the camera on your smartphone.
