Samsung just launched its latest mid-range smartphones the Galaxy A52 and A72 in India, after the Galaxy Awesome Unpacked event that held on earlier this week. The Galaxy A52 has a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display with a 90Hz refresh rate. While the Galaxy A72 has a slightly larger 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
Both phones have an in-display fingerprint scanner and a 32MP small punch-hole front-facing camera. These phones are runs on the Snapdragon 720G processor with up to 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, and work on One UI 3.1 based on Android 11, and these are water-resistant to a depth of one meter for up to 30 minutes with IP67 certification.
These phones have a quad rear camera setup where a 64-megapixel primary camera with support for OIS, along with 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 5-megapixel macro camera. The A52 comes with a 5-megapixel depth sensor, which is replaced by an 8-megapixel 3x telephoto camera with a 30x space zoom with OIS in the A72. The A52 is powered by a 4500mAh battery, while the A72 has a bigger 5000mAh battery and both support 25W fast charging but come with a 15W charger in the box.
