Samsung today has announced the extension of the Circle to Search feature to the Galaxy A series and Galaxy Tab S9 FE series smartphones. Starting August 22, 2024, the feature will be available on the Galaxy A55, Galaxy A54, Galaxy A35, and Galaxy A34 smartphones.
The Circle to Search feature, introduced earlier this year in collaboration with Google on the Samsung Galaxy S24 series, allows users to circle any part of the screen to view search results from Google. This feature was later expanded to include more Galaxy S series devices, the Tab S9 series, and foldable devices, such as the latest Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6, which added full-page translation, homework assistance, and QR and barcode scanning capabilities.
After its launch on the Galaxy A series, the Circle to Search feature will also be rolled out to the Galaxy Tab S9 FE, Galaxy Tab S9 FE+, and Galaxy Tab S9 FE 5G, where the large displays and Galaxy S Pen will enhance the discovery experience, according to the company.
Commenting on the expansion, TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics, said -
"These updates unlock new possibilities for the Galaxy A series and Galaxy Tab S9 FE series, reinforcing our commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology to more Galaxy users. We are dedicated to bringing best-in-class AI technology to a broader audience, empowering users to work more efficiently, create more freely, and enjoy richer, more personalized interactions with their devices."
