There haven't been many Windows offerings from Samsung off late, but things are about to change with a Samsung Windows 10 powered tablet SM-W700. A Zauba listing says that the 12-inch display bearing tablet has made it to India for testing. Those not aware of Zauba, it is a web service which tracks imports and exports to/from India.
The SM-W700 is expected to run on Intel's Core M processor packing a 12-inch 4K (3840x2400 pixels) display with upto 8GB RAM and S-Pen support. Samsung has released 12-inch tablets in the past running Android but this would be the first time the company is dabbing into Surface territory. Microsoft is also expected to launch the Surface 4 Pro in an event on October 6th making Samsung's Windows 10 tablet more likely.
Moreover, with the new humongous Apple iPad Pro lurking around, Microsoft and Samsung wouldn't want to loose the opportunity to show the productivity features of a full Desktop OS on a tablet.
