Xiaomi has officially launched its latest smartwatch under the Redmi brand, the REDMI Watch 5 in China alongside the Redmi K80 series, as previously announced. The smartwatch features a 2.07-inch AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate, 1500 nits peak brightness, and an 82% screen-to-body ratio.
Its 2mm ultra-narrow bezels, 324 PPI pixel density, and AI-powered anti-mistouch algorithm enhance the user experience, while a functional crown simplifies navigation. The straps support quick-release swaps, with optional Kona leather magnetic straps available for added customization.

The REDMI Watch 5 offers over 200 customizable watch faces, including a floating portrait mode that animates portraits above the time for a dynamic display. Powered by a 550mAh battery, the smartwatch delivers up to 24 days of typical usage, with the eSIM version lasting up to 12 days in eSIM mode.
Enhanced Vibration and Communication -
This model debuts a linear motor with over 20 unique vibration modes for precise haptic feedback. It supports eSIM-based calls, Bluetooth calling, and a dual-mode intercom feature. The Bluetooth walkie-talkie mode works within a 200-meter range in open areas, while the eSIM intercom provides up to 25 hours of continuous use, ideal for group activities like hiking and cycling.
