Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of its first tablet from Redmi the Redmi Pad in India on October 4th. The company says “Right Choice for Entertainment, Gaming, E-learning, and Browsing is here”. It shows the tablet in Green color, but it is expected to come in Graphite Gray and Moonlight Silver colors.
According to the rumors, the tablet will come with a 10.6-inch 2K LCD screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz, a 10-bit color depth, and a brightness of up to 400 nits. It will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor with up to 4GB RAM, up to 128GB UFS 2.2 storage, and based on Android 12.
It is said to feature an 8MP rear and front camera, and the front camera will use FocusFrame technology that utilizes the 105-degree field of view. The Redmi Pad is expected to support Quad Speakers with Dolby Atmos and will be powered by an 8000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
