Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of its latest mid-range smartphone the Redmi Note 12R Pro in China on April 29th. The company has also confirmed that the phone will feature a 120Hz OLED screen from Samsung, SGS low blue light eye protection certification, and is powered by Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
The teaser image shows Black, White, and Gold colors, and reveals a dual rear camera setup that includes a 48MP primary camera.
The Redmi Note 12R Pro design is similar to the Redmi Note 12 5G that was introduced in China last year, and it was also launched in India earlier this year with a few changes in the camera. So, the Note 12R Pro could be an upgrade version of it with more RAM and storage.
We should know more details and the exact price of the phone when it goes officially launched in a couple of days.
