Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has launched its latest mid-range smartphone the Redmi Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro+ in India along with Redmi Note 12 5G, as they promised. These have a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display with support for Dolby Vision, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 1920Hz High-Frequency PWM Dimming, and a 2.9mm ultra-narrow bottom bezel. Both runs on the Dimensity 1080 processor with up to 12GB of RAM, 256GB UFS 2.2 storage and have 3000mm² VC liquid cooling heat dissipation.
Both have a triple rear camera setup where the Redmi Note 12 Pro has a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor with OIS and the Note 12 Pro+ has a 200MP 1/1.4-inch Samsung HMX primary sensor and 2.24μm with 16-in-1 pixel binning along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. All the models feature a glass back panel. The Note 12 Pro+ has a 7P lens and features a high-end ALD anti-glare coating that has been applied to greatly improve image quality, said the company.
The Note 12 Pro is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging that can charge up to 50% in 15 minutes and up to 100% charge in 46 minutes. The Note 12 Pro+ has a 4980mAh supports 120W fast charging with a Surging P1 chip that can charge up to 100% in 19 minutes with the bundled 120W GaN charger.

The company also launched a budget model in the Note 12 series the Redmi Note 12 5G along with Redmi Note 12 Pro series. It has a 6.67-inch FHD+ Samsung GOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and runs on the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM. It has a 48MP primary rear camera along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 13MP front camera inside the punch-hole. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
