Xiaomi's Redmi brand has launched its latest mid-range smartphone the Redmi Note 10S in India, as they promised. It has a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 60Hz refresh rate, 120Hz touch sampling rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It runs on the MediaTek Helio G95 processor with 6GB of RAM, up to 128GB UFS 2.2 storage, dual-layer graphite sheet, and works on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11. The company says that this is the interim version and a full version with all the features including the option to uninstall system apps will be added via OTA update.
Coming to the cameras, it has a quad rear camera setup where a 64-megapixel primary camera along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, 2-megapixel depth, and 2-megapixel portrait cameras. The front side has a 13-megapixel front-facing camera. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Z-axis linear vibration motor, IP52 ratings for water resistance, and stereo speakers. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging, which can charge up to 54% battery in 30 minutes and 100% in 78 minutes.
