Xiaomi’s Redmi brand launched the latest TWS earbuds the Redmi Buds 4 Pro in China, which is the successor of last year’s Redmi Buds 3 Pro. It has Bluetooth 5.3 with dual-device connectivity, achieving a low latency of as low as 59ms compared to 69ms, as compared the predecessor. It also has active noise cancellation with up to 43dB active noise reduction.
The earbuds have a 10mm aluminum-magnesium alloy diaphragm for bass and a 6mm titanium diaphragm for treble, IP54 ratings for dust water resistance support, and gives up to 9 hours of standalone and 36 hours total battery life with the case, but it doesn’t have wireless charging which was present in the predecessor.

The company also launched a cheaper model the Redmi Buds 4 which also has ANC, but with 35dB noise cancellation, Bluetooth 5.2, 10mm drivers, and gives 6 hours of standalone battery life and Up to 30 hours with the case with ANC off.

Redmi Buds 4 Pro and Buds 4 will be available in China from May 31st, and the pre-order has started now.
- The Redmi Buds 4 Pro comes in Mirror White and Black colors and the price is 369 yuan (US$ 55 / Rs. 4,300 approx.).
- The Redmi Buds 4 comes in White and Light Blue colors and the price is 199 yuan (US$ 29.9 / Rs. 2,315 approx.).
Xiaomi Band 7 -
Xiaomi has also launched its new smart fitness band the Xiaomi Band 7 in China in two variants - Band 7 and Band 7 NFC, which is the successor of the Xiaomi Band 6. It features the same design as the previous generation, a 1.62-inch AMOLED display, which is 0.06-inches larger than last year’s model with a 192 x 490-pixel resolution, a 326 PPI pixel density, and 500 nits of maximum brightness. The device also supports an always-on display on select watch faces and features a dynamic Mars wallpaper like the one available on MIUI 13.
The device comes with colorful TPU antibacterial wristbands for more choices for consumers. The Xiaomi Band 7 now includes 120 sports modes where it provides four sports data analysis features, such as VO2 Max, ATPPC, Aerobic, and Recovery Time, and indeed, the fitness band will provide feedback on your achievements in its Mi Fitness app (Xiaomi Wear app). It is powered by a 180 mAh battery that could last up to 15 hours of battery life on a single charge.
