Last year, Xiaomi's Redmi brand planning to launch its latest budget smartphone Redmi 9 has surfaced with detailed specifications on the social sites that will be running on MediaTek Helio G70 processor. Now, the live images of the phone back with new details have surfaced where the camera part looks similar to the Redmi K30/POCO X2.
According to the new rumors, the phone will be run on MediaTek Helio G80 that is slightly faster than the previous Helio G70 processor, which already comes in the realme 6i smartphone and this will be launch in India as Narzo 10. But unfortunately, Narzo 10 series event has postponed due to the lockdown situation in the country.
Earlier rumors, the phone has a 6.6-inch DoT notch display as compared to the 6.22-inch display on the Redmi 8 smartphone with up to 4 GB of RAM and up to 64 GB storage. On the backside of the phone has a quad rear camera setup where a 13 MP primary camera along with 8 MP ultra-wide lens, 5 MP macro lens, and a 2 MP depth sensor with Single-LED flash. As per the image, it has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner compared to the side-mounted scanner in the Redmi Note 9 Pro series.
According to the renders, the Redmi 9 comes in Purple, Green and more colors. It will likely be powered by a 5000mAh battery that could support 15W fast charging. We should know more details and specifications of the phone in the upcoming month.
