Xiaomi has launched its latest budget 5G smartphone, the Redmi 13 5G in India, as promised. It features a 6.79-inch FHD+ 120Hz LCD screen with a centre punch-hole, and it runs on the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE (Accelerated Edition) SoC, with up to 8GB of RAM + an additional 8GB of virtual RAM, 128GB UFS 2.2 storage and is based on Android 14 with Hyper OS, the phone comes with 2 years of Android updates and 4 years of security updates.
The phone boasts a crystal glass design and is noted as the first in its segment to feature dual-sided glass. It has a 108MP rear camera with a Samsung ISOCELL HM6 1/1.67″ sensor and 9-in-1 pixel binning technology for clear images, a 2MP secondary camera, and a 13MP front camera. There is also a ring flash on the back. It is powered by a 5030mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging, and a charger is included in the box.
