Realme has officially launched its latest flagship smartphone, the Realme GT 7 Pro in India, as they promised. The device sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K 8T LTPO Eco² OLED Plus micro-curved display from Samsung, delivering an industry-leading peak brightness of 2000 nits and a global maximum brightness of 6000 nits. The screen supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision for an enhanced visual experience.
It runs on the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and the GT 7 Pro offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It is based on Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0, the company promises of 3 major Android updates and 4 years of security patches. The phone features an 11,480mm² dual VC cooling system and Realme’s proprietary Sky Communication System 2.0, which includes a custom dual-sided high- and low-frequency antenna, ensuring smooth and lag-free gaming.
In the camera department, the GT 7 Pro is equipped with a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP Sony IMX882 3x periscope telephoto lens. It also introduces AI Zoom Ultra Clarity, a proprietary feature designed to enhance telephoto image quality. The device is rated IP68 and IP69 for dust and water resistance. The phone features a Mars-inspired design that celebrates humanity's timeless spirit of exploration. According to the company, the textured back cover is crafted to harmonize seamlessly with the Mars landscape.
The phone is powered by a 6500mAh silicon-carbon negative electrode battery, which features the industry's highest silicon content at 10%. It supports 120W fast charging, achieving a 50% charge in just 14 minutes, and incorporates a proprietary longevity algorithm to maintain battery health for up to four years.
