Realme has launched its latest high-end smartphone in its GT series, the Realme GT 6 in India, as promised, following the recent release of the realme GT 6T. It features a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED screen with a variable refresh rate of 1-120Hz, Pro-XDR display, 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, peak brightness of up to 6000 nits, global maximum brightness of 1600 nits, a 1.36mm ultra-narrow side frame, a 1.94mm ultra-narrow chin, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
It runs on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device includes a 9-layer cooling system with a 10014mm² 3D tempered dual VC and Geek Power Tuning. It is based on Android 14 with realme UI 5, the company promises three Android updates and four years of security updates. The AI Smart Loop feature helps identify and quickly share content, while the AI Smart Removal and AI Night Vision Mode enhance photo and camera capabilities.
Available in Fluid Silver and Razor Green, the phone boasts a glass back with a Nano Mirror Design for a shiny metal mirror texture and a Misty AG Process for the lens. It includes a 50MP rear camera with a Sony LYT-808 1/1.4″ sensor and OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 50MP 2x telephoto camera, and a 32MP front camera.
The GT 6 is equipped with a 5500mAh battery supporting 120W SuperVOOC fast charging, capable of reaching 50% charge in 10 minutes. According to realme, the battery maintains over 80% health even after 1600 charging cycles or four years of use.
