Following the release of images, specifications for the realme 12 Pro (RMX3843) and realme 12 Pro+ (RMX3841) have surfaced on the TENNA/MIIT certification platform in China. Notably, both phones will feature a similar 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz curved AMOLED display.
According to circulating rumors, the realme 12 Pro is anticipated to be equipped with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, delivering CPU performance nearly equivalent to that of the Dimensity 7050 SoC in the realme 11 Pro, along with a slightly improved GPU performance. On the other hand, the realme 12 Pro+ is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, the same processor found in the recently launched Redmi Note 13 Pro in India.
Recent speculations have unveiled specific camera details, indicating a 32MP Sony IMX709 2X telephoto lens for the 12 Pro and a 64MP Omnivision OV64B 3X periscope telephoto lens for the 12 Pro+. Both phones are expected to feature a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. Additionally, the realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ will retain the 16MP and 32MP front cameras, respectively, from their predecessors, the 11 Pro and 11 Pro+.
Realme is emphasizing the periscope telephoto camera feature in the 12 Pro+, while also playfully commenting on the Redmi Note 13 Pro series and its 200MP camera. Additionally, realme is promoting a special offer where buyers can receive a complimentary realme Buds Air 5 valued at Rs. 3,699 when they trade in their 200MP camera smartphone.
