Realme has launched its latest smartphones in the realme 12 series the realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ in India, as promised. Both devices boast a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz curved AMOLED display with ultra-narrow bezels and 2160Hz PWM ultra-high frequency dimming, mirroring the features found in the 11 Pro series. Additionally, these phones incorporate ProXDR technology, which analyzes the image content captured by the camera to optimize photo effects across a wide range of brightness and dynamic range.
Under the hood, the realme 12 Pro is equipped with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, while the 12 Pro+ runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. Both models offer up to 12 GB of RAM with expansion capabilities. Notably, the 12 Pro+ includes a 3D VC Cooling system featuring a 3394mm² vapor chamber. Operating on Android 14 with realme UI 5.0 out of the box, these phones are expected to receive two Android OS updates and three years of security updates, similar to previous devices in the Pro series.
The realme 12 Pro+ is equipped with a 50MP rear camera featuring the Sony IMX890 sensor with OIS. Additionally, it boasts a 64MP Omnivision OV64B periscope telephoto camera with OIS, providing 3x optical zoom and 6x in-sensor zoom capabilities. The phone supports up to 120x SuperZoom. On the other hand, the realme 12 Pro houses a 50MP IMX882 sensor with OIS and integrates a 32MP portrait camera. Both models include an 8MP ultra-wide camera.
Emphasizing a luxury watch-inspired design, realme has collaborated with Luxury Watch Designer Ollivier Savéo to provide a premium design experience previously associated with luxury timepieces. The phone features a vegan leather finish.
Through collaboration with Qualcomm, realme has enhanced image processing with the MasterShot Algorithm. The realme 12 Pro Series stands as the first and only device in its segment capable of processing RAW domains, ensuring exceptional clarity, dynamic range, and realism in cinematic portraits, according to the company. Both devices boast a 5000mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging, enabling the phone to reach 50% charge in 19 minutes and 100% in 48 minutes.

The realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ are offered in Submarine Blue and Navigator Beige colors. Additionally, the 12 Pro+ introduces an India-exclusive Explorer Red variant, scheduled for release on February 9th, conveniently ahead of Valentine’s Day.
These phones will be available from February 6th on realme.com, Flipkart, and offline stores. Today, January 29th features an early access sale from 6 to 8 PM available on various online channels and offline channels as well. The customers will get Rs. 2000 off with ICICI Bank cards.
