Qualcomm has quietly launched its next mid-range processor, the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC in the Global Market, following the June launch of the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3.
The Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 features a Kryo CPU with a 10% boost in CPU performance, an Adreno GPU delivering over 30% improved graphics performance, and a Hexagon NPU that offers 20% better AI performance compared to its predecessor, the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 from 2022. Notably, Qualcomm has bypassed the Snapdragon 6 Gen 2.
The new SoC retains triple 12-bit ISPs and includes Qualcomm FastConnect 6700, supporting 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6E), Bluetooth 5.2 with dual antennas, and NFC.

Qualcomm has not yet disclosed specific details about the availability of the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC, but it is anticipated to power devices beginning in Q4 2024.
