POCO has officially launched its latest 5G smartphone in the M Series, the POCO M6 Plus 5G in India, as promised. It features a 6.79-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a centre punch-hole. It's powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE (Accelerated Edition) SoC, offering up to 8GB of RAM and up to 8GB of virtual RAM.
The phone boasts a glass back and ring LED flash, and POCO claims it is the first 5G dual-sided glass phone in its segment. It includes a 108MP rear camera with a Samsung ISOCELL HM6 1/1.67″ sensor and 9-in-1 pixel binning technology for clear images. There is also a 2MP secondary camera and a 13MP front camera.
It is based on Android 14 with Hyper OS, POCO guarantees 2 years of Android updates and 4 years of security updates. The device is powered by a 5030mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging, with a charger included in the box.
