POCO launched its latest smartphone in the F6 series, the POCO F6 Pro 5G for the Global Market, alongside a POCO F6 launched in India. It features a stylish design with slim bezels, a metal frame, and a quad-curved glass back with a soft velvet finish. It has a 6.67-inch WQHD+ Flow AMOLED DotDisplay with a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
The display reaches peak brightness levels of up to 4000 nits, supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision, a 2160Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, 12-bit color depth displaying 68.7 billion colors, and has TÜV certification. Additionally, it includes an in-screen fingerprint sensor that also functions as a heart rate monitor.
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, the device offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It uses LiquidCool Technology 4.0 with an IceLoop System for efficient heat management and features a 5000mm² large cooling area. The phone also includes WildBoost Optimization 3.0 for enhanced performance and offers various AI-driven features such as AI Expansion, Album, Subtitles, Magic Erase Pro, and AI portrait modes.
For photography, the POCO F6 Pro is equipped with a 50MP main camera (1/1.55″) featuring Light Fusion 800 image sensor technology and optical image stabilization (OIS). It also has an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro lens. The front camera is a 16MP unit with RAW domain algorithms for detailed selfies.
The device is powered by a 5000mAh battery supporting 120W HyperCharge, which claims to fully charge the phone in just 19 minutes. It includes the POCO Surge P2 charging chipset and Surge G1 battery chipset for optimized charging and battery management.
Additional features include a dual-wing antenna design for improved signal reception, dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, Hi-Res audio (including wireless), an X-axis linear vibration motor, and AI Face Unlock. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth v5.3, NFC, IR Blaster, and GNSS positioning. The phone runs on Xiaomi HyperOS.
