POCO is preparing to introduce its latest upcoming 5G smartphone the POCO F5, which will be the successor of last year’s POCO F4. Today, POCO and Snapdragon India have confirmed that the POCO F5 will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 7+ Gen2 processor, and POCO India head Himanshu Tandon also said that POCO F5 will be the most powerful POCO Smartphone ever.
The phone has surfaced on Geekbench 6 listing with the model number 23049PCD8G revealing 12GB of RAM, Android 13, and Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 with high scores of 1629 and 4295 on single and multicore.
Based on earlier rumors, this should be the rebranded version of the global variant of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which was introduced in China last month. It should feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display with Dolby Vision support, 120Hz refresh rate, 1920Hz High-Frequency PWM Dimming, and powered by a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging, but the rear camera might be different.
According to rumors, the Redmi K60 might be launched as POCO F5 Pro, but it is not confirmed if we can expect it to launch alongside the POCO F5. We should know more details and the exact launch date in the coming days.
