Panasonic today launched its new 4G LTE powered smartphone, the Eluga Icon exclusive to Amazon priced at Rs. 10,999. The Eluga Icon comes with a 5.5-inch 720p HD IPS display running on a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6752 octa-core processor with 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable storage, Android 4.4 KitKat with ICON UI on top. There are some gesture controls built-in including double-tap to wake, air-swipe to unlock and HotKnot support.
The Eluga Icon gets a 13MP rear camera with LED flash capable of recording 1080p videos and a 8MP front-facing shooter. Connectivity options include dual-SIM 4G LTE support, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG. It has a rather sizeable 3500 mAh battery to keep going.
It has been priced at Rs. 10,999 which is a very competitive segment where the Lenovo K3 Note, Yu Yureka Plus have a strong presence.
