OPPO has launched its latest flagship 5G smartphone the Reno5 Pro+ 5G in the Reno series in China, as they promised in the launch of Reno 5 and Reno 5 Pro smartphones early this month. It has a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED 90Hz display with a 180Hz touch sampling rate and 92.10% screen-to-body ratio and has a 32MP punch-hole front-facing camera. It runs on the Snapdragon 865 processor with VC three-dimensional liquid cooling system, up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 storage and works on ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11.
It has a quad rear camera setup where the latest 50 MP primary camera with Sony IMX766 sensor, 1.0μm pixel size, DOL-HDR (Digital Overlap High Dynamic Range) technology, Live HDR video algorithm, Full-pixel omnidirectional focusing technology, for faster and more accurate focusing, video tracking focus, automatic locking of moving and static subjects, real-time prediction of movement and more. Along with a 16 MP ultrawide camera, 13MP telephoto camera with 5x hybrid zoom, and a 2MP depth sensor. OPPO Reno 5 Pro+ is powered by a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging in the box.
The company also introduced an Artist limited edition with Color-changing back designed in collaboration with artist Joshua Vides. It has a surreal two-dimensional style pattern on the back cover that uses electrochromic technology to switch the back panel of the phone between gray and blue which can be changed with two taps. This technology was recently showcased by Oneplus in OnePlus 8T concept.

The OPPO Reno5 Pro+ pre-orders is started from today and will be available from December 29th, while the Reno5 Pro+ Artist Limited Edition pre-orders starting from January 18th and will be available from January 22nd only in China.
