OPPO has introduced the Reno11 and Reno11 Pro smartphones in India, delivering on its earlier commitment. The Reno11 Series showcases a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED flexible display, supporting 10-bit colors and boasting HDR brightness of up to 950 nits.
The Reno11 is equipped with a Dimensity 7050 SoC, consistent with the Reno10, while the Reno11 Pro runs on the upgraded Dimensity 8200 SoC, replacing the Snapdragon 778G found in the Reno10 Pro. Both phones come pre-installed with Android 14-based ColorOS 14 for the first time in India. OPPO has assured users that the devices will receive three major OS upgrades and four years of security updates.
Regarding the camera setup, the OPPO Reno11 series includes a standard configuration featuring a 32MP 2x telephoto lens, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 32MP front camera. The Reno11 is equipped with a new 50MP Sony LYT600 sensor, while the Pro model retains the 50MP IMX890 main sensor.
OPPO's Portrait AI technology is designed to distinguish between skin blemishes and beauty spots, eliminating the former while retaining the latter. It takes into account factors such as skin tone, age, and gender before applying beautification and skin smoothening filters.
Moreover, the Reno11 Series introduces a comprehensive Pro mode, allowing users to adjust settings such as ISO, shutter speed, exposure value, focus, and white balance. The devices support screen overlays, including a 3×3 grid, diagonal lines, and Golden Spiral guides, activated through Camera Settings, to assist in capturing perfectly framed snapshots with aesthetically pleasing compositions.
The Reno11 Pro showcases a 3D curved glass with a satin finish, ensuring it remains free from smudges. The pearl white variant features a Shimmering Pearl design achieved by merging three layers into a single piece of glass, incorporating 3.6 million tiny reflective surfaces that contribute to its distinctive luster, as per the company's statement. Additionally, the phone is available in Rock Grey color with an OPPO Glow finish.
Boasting a 4600mAh battery and 80W SuperVOOC, the Reno11 Pro achieves a full 100% charge in just 28 minutes. In contrast, the Reno11 is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and supports 67W SuperVOOC charging, completing a 100% charge in 45 minutes.
Both devices incorporate OPPO's Battery Health Engine (BHE) technology, enhancing battery life and sustainability. The focus on rapid charging and convenient, brief charging sessions supports extended usage scenarios, allowing users to swiftly replenish their devices, the company explained.
