Oppo R9s Plus has just revealed itself online, thanks to AnTuTu. We have already seen and heard about the Oppo R9s which is said to feature a new antenna design and Sony's IMX398 sensor but information was scarce on the R9s Plus variant.
Now we know what's in store for us at tomorrow's launch event. The Oppo R9s Plus would run on the freshly announced Snapdragon 653 octa-core processor with a 6-inch 1080p display and massive 4000 mAh battery. The AnTuTu listing also confirms the presence of a 16MP rear camera which should be same as the R9s with f/1.7 aperture along with a 16MP front camera. The change here is the 6GB RAM on the device with 64GB onboard storage.
This will also be a dual-SIM smartphone but you would be able to expand storage with the hybrid SIM slot arrangement. Other connectivity options may include dual-SIM 4G VoLTE support, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. A fingerprint sensor should also be present on the phone. Both are said to feature Super VOOC fast charging.
At present there is no word on pricing or availability of either of these phones. We will know more tomorrow.
