Oppo has just launched its new all-metal smartphones in China packing 6GB RAM, 16MP front, and rear cameras. The Oppo R9s runs on the Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor with a 5.5-inch 1080p display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection. Oppo has gone with a very narrow 1.7mm thin frame giving the phone a 77.5% screen-to-body ratio.
The Oppo R9s Plus runs on the newly minted Snapdragon 653 octa-core processor with a 6-inch 1080p display also protected by Gorilla Glass 5. This is Oppo's first smartphone with 6GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage which is expandable using a hybrid SIM card slot. Both phones feature the new slot antenna design with 3 small slits at the back both at the top and bottom for the antenna bands to go through.
On the camera front both phones feature the new Sony IMX398 sensor based 16MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture lens and 4K video recording while there is a 16MP front-facing camera as well. You get a dual-tone LED flash at the back. The Oppo R9s Plus also has OIS+ for stable shots even in low light while the R9 manages using EIS or Digital Stabilization.
You get a fingerprint sensor on both phones along with support for VOOC Flash Charge fast charging.

Oppo R9s and R9s Plus Pricing and Availability
The Oppo R9s has been priced at 2799 Yuan ($415 or Rs. 27,700) while the R9s Plus will be available for 3499 Yuan ($520 or Rs. 34,600.) Both phones will come in gold, rose gold and black color options. The Oppo R9s is already available in China to pre-order and will be going on sale October 28 while the R9s Plus will come in December.
