Oppo today launched the R7 Lite and R7 Plus in India. The R7 Lite comes with a 5-inch 720p HD AMOLED display while the R7 Plus manages to go beyond the phablet domain with a 6-inch 1080p AMOLED display.
Both phones have a metal unibody design with a metal-frame and backcover running on the Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor with ColorOS 2.1 based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. Both have 13MP rear and 8MP front-facing cameras, however the sensors differ. The Oppo R7 Lite has a 13MP ISOCELL rear camera while the R7 Plus features Sony IMX278 sensor. R7 Plus also gets laser autofocus and a fingerprint sensor.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE support, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, dual-SIM capability. The Oppo R7 Plus also features VOOC fast charging while the R7 Lite makes do with Qualcomm QuickCharge 2.0. You have a humongous 4100 mAh battery on the Oppo R7 Plus, while the R7 Lite gets 2320 mAh battery.
The Oppo R7 Lite has been priced at Rs. 17,999 and will go on sale starting September 10th while the Oppo R7 Plus will go on sale starting September 25th for Rs. 29,999. Both will be available in silver and gold colors.
