Update - After rumors, OnePlus has finally confirmed the launch date of its first smart fitness band OnePlus Band that will be unveiled on January 11 in India at 11 AM local time. The company also confirmed the smart band will come with a SpO2 sensor to measure blood oxygen saturation. The OnePlus Band will be sold through Amazon.in as well as Oneplus.com.

Earlier - OnePlus has finally started officially teasing its first fitness band in India after rumors. The teaser comes with the tagline “The New Face of Fitness” is coming soon along with #SmartEverywear. The image shows a band with a curved screen and OnePlus branding in the bezel.
Now the actual images of the OnePlus band have leaked online. The image shows the strip colors in dual shades and the fitness band comes in black finish color. OnePlus Band is said to features like water resistance, an AMOLED screen, and long battery life, according to the rumors. It will likely run a proprietary software similar to other fitness bands.
The band should also expect a heart rate sensor which is present in almost all fitness trackers, but we will still wait to find out that will comes with SpO2 or blood oxygen monitoring, which is present in a few fitness trackers. The company has also teased a sleep tracking feature that is shown in the companion app.
OnePlus CEO recently confirmed that the OnePlus Watch will finally be introduced in 2021 that has been in the working process, but the company first launching a fitness band. The band will be available through Amazon.in as well as OnePlus.in. We should know more details and the exact launch date in the coming weeks.
