Earlier this year, OnePlus launched the Ace 3 in China, followed by its global release as the OnePlus 12R. Recently, the leaker Digital Chat Station shared details about a new device, rumoured to be the OnePlus Ace 5, the successor to the Ace 3, which skips the Ace 4 name.
The OnePlus Ace 5 is expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K 8T LTPO micro-curved screen, moving away from the dual-curved design seen in previous Ace models. It is rumoured to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and to include a 50MP main camera, an alert slider, and a large 6200mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging.
These specifications resemble those of the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, which launched in China in June, though the Ace 5 might be more affordable. It is anticipated that the OnePlus Ace 5 will be unveiled later this year, with the OnePlus 13R potentially launching globally, including in India, in early 2025.
Additionally, OnePlus is preparing for the release of the OnePlus 13, which is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC and could be the first OnePlus device to achieve IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
The OnePlus 13 and 13R will likely be announced at a global event early next year, possibly in January.
