OnePlus has officially confirmed the launch of two new Ace series smartphones, the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro, set to debut in China this December, after rumours. The teaser highlights dual Snapdragon chipsets, with the Ace 5 Pro powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and the standard Ace 5 expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

Louis Jie, Head of OnePlus China, shared his thoughts on the upcoming Ace 5 series:
“In the past, we used the standard version to ‘fight two with one,’ and we handled it with ease. Now, we’ve officially upgraded the Pro version, delivering the strongest performance with a bold attitude. Since we’ve entered this battlefield, we declare: I come, I see, I conquer.”
Louis Jie also revealed gaming performance data comparing the Ace 5 with competitors using the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, under identical test conditions with 120 FPS and extreme image quality over an hour:

OnePlus Ace 5 Pro -
The Ace 5 Pro will include notable upgrades:
- Processor: Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC
- Cameras: Addition of a telephoto camera
- Battery: Expected capacity of 6200mAh or 6300mAh
Global Availability -
The OnePlus Ace 5 is likely to launch globally, including in India, as the OnePlus 13R, possibly alongside the OnePlus 13 in January. However, the Ace 5 Pro is expected to remain exclusive to the Chinese market.
