OnePlus has officially announced the upcoming launch of the OnePlus Ace 3V, the latest addition to its Ace series smartphones, set to debut in China next week, after rumors. Featuring a sleek design, the company asserts that this device will rival mid-range smartphones and establish a new standard as the most potent mid-range SoC to date.
Furthermore, OnePlus has disclosed that the OnePlus Ace 3V will be powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC, utilizing the same architecture found in the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Preliminary benchmarks have unveiled specifications including a 1 x 2.8 GHz Cortex-X4 prime core, 4 x 2.61GHz Cortex-A720 performance cores, and 3 x 1.9GHz Cortex-A520 power efficiency cores, along with 16GB of RAM and is based on Android 14.
Recently, OnePlus China President Li Jie offered a glimpse of the device's front appearance, showcasing minimal bezels and relocating the alert slider to the left side to align with the top-tier models.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon flagship new product launch event is scheduled for March 18, during which the company is anticipated to unveil the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chips. It is expected that the release date of the OnePlus Ace 3V will also be announced during this event.
According to previous speculations, the phone is anticipated to feature a 1.5K OLED flat screen without a plastic bracket, a plastic side frame, a glass back, and a 5500mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging, matching the capabilities of the Ace 3 (12R).
Following its launch in China, the OnePlus Ace 3V is projected to be introduced to global markets under the name OnePlus Nord 4.
