OnePlus has officially announced the upcoming launch of the OnePlus Ace 3V smartphone in China, scheduled for March 21st, following teasers. This device marks one of the pioneering entries to be equipped with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC, leveraging the identical architecture found in the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
Revealed images showcase a configuration featuring dual rear cameras, a ring LED flash, and the presence of an alert slider positioned on the left side. Available color variants include Titanium Air Gray, maintaining the flagship's premium liquid metal texture, and Magic Purple Silver, boasting an innovative fusion of glass smoothness with frosted metal texture, a first in the industry according to the company.
Reports suggest the phone will sport a plastic frame instead of metal, a strategic move aimed at cost reduction compared to the Ace 3 (12R), while the presence of an IR blaster remains evident from the images. Additionally, the device is rumored to house a robust 5500mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging, mirroring the specifications of the Ace 3 (12R).
