Update - After lots of rumors, OnePlus has just finally confirmed the OnePlus 8 series global launch online event held on April 14. At this launch event, you will know newly engineered fluid display with the highest 120Hz refresh rate and the company uses the first-time punch-hole camera on their latest smartphones.
The OnePlus 8 series launch event will be Livestream on the OnePlus official website and YouTube at 8:30 pm IST (11 AM EDT) on April 14.
Earlier - Last week, the Oneplus 8 Pro official press image has surfaced on social sites. Now, the official press image of the OnePlus 8 surfaced and the detailed specifications also leaked last week by @ishanagarwal24.
According to the renders, it has a 6.55-inch Full HD+ 90Hz Fluid AMOLED display with a 16 MP punch-hole front-facing camera that supports Auto-HDR mode. It runs on Snapdragon 865 5G processor with up to 12 GB LPDDR4X RAM, 256 UFS 3.0 storage, and works on OxygenOS 10.0.x based on Android 10. On the rear side of the phone has a triple camera setup where 48 MP primary camera along with 16 MP ultra-wide lens and 2 MP depth sensor.
It has powered by a 4300mAh battery that will support warp Charge 30T Fast Charging 30W, but this will not comes with wireless charging. According to render, OnePlus 8 comes in Interstellar Glow, Glacial Green, and Onyx Black colors.
According to the rumors, the OnePlus 8 series could go official launch in mid of April, but it may be postponed due to lockdowns situation in India including several countries. We should know more information about the phone in the upcoming month.
