After a lot of rumors, speculations, and even leaked renders, OnePlus has finally announced the launch of their upgraded flagship, the OnePlus 5T.
The company is conducting an event in New York on November 16, in which the OnePlus 5T will be unveiled. Five days after the launch, on November 21, the phone will be available in North America and Europe. In India too, there will be a flash sale on November 21, with open sale starting on November 28. China will get the OnePlus 5T on December 1st.
The company CEO Pete Lau has already hinted at the price being under CNY 2000 (around Rs. 39000).
When it comes to the speculated features, OnePlus 5T is expected to come with an 18:9 6.01-inch Full HD+ display with thinner bezels. We can expect camera and battery upgrades as well. It is speculated that the OnePlus 5T will come with improved 16-megapixel and 20-megapixel dual rear cameras. The phone may come with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box as well.
Another thing we already know about the OnePlus 5T is that it will keep the 3.5mm headphone jack. If you can't make it to Brooklyn, New York for the announcement, there will be a YouTube Livestream for the event as well.
