OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 3.5.5 community build for the OnePlus 3 which brings some new features and refinements.
The launcher now has a simplified layout similar to HydrogenOS which can be a move to amalgamate both OS versions. The Phone calling UI has also been redesigned with a more modern design. Another neat addition is FileDash, which allows for faster file transfers between OnePlus or other devices.
With the new update, you will also be able to share location information directly from messages, without the need to share if from Google Maps. Another change on that front is the ability to add a personalized ringtone for each of your contacts, and also check call history for each separately. You will also get the new Community app with the build, keeping you updated on all changes and interacting with other OnePlus fans.
As with all updates, OxygenOS 3.5.5 also comes with stability improvements and bug fixes. It weighs in at just 331 MB and is now rolling out OTA to subscribers of the community build. If you haven't received the update, you can either just wait or download the ROM from OnePlus.
