The OnePlus 12R made an appearance in renders a few months back, showcasing a familiar design, while the phone's specifications also emerged. Recently, the phone surfaced on a Geekbench listing by the model number PJD110, revealing its Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, 16GB of RAM, and Android 13. Geekbench 6 demonstrates a single-core score of 1723 and a multi-core score of 5164.
OnePlus has confirmed the utilization of a 1.5K "X1 (Oriental) Screen" from BOE for the phone. Earlier rumors indicated a 6.7-inch 1.5 120Hz flat AMOLED screen, along with triple rear cameras comprising a 50MP main camera equipped with a Sony IMX890 sensor, OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 32MP telephoto camera featuring an IMX709 sensor. Additionally, it is expected to boast a substantial 5500mAh battery, as opposed to the 5000mAh battery found in the 11R, while retaining the 100W SUPERVOOC charging.
The renders suggest that the phone will retain the alert slider, with the design featuring a metal frame. Rumors suggest that the OnePlus 12R is set to launch in China as the OnePlus Ace 3 in January 2024, alongside the OnePlus 12, before expanding to other markets, following a similar pattern to the OnePlus Ace 2 / OnePlus 11R.
