Nubia has unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the Z60 Ultra, succeeding the Z50 Ultra, both in China and for global markets. Boasting a 6.8-inch OLED BOE Q9+ screen with a remarkable refresh rate of up to 120Hz, an instant touch sampling rate of 1200Hz, and 2160Hz PWM dimming, this device incorporates cutting-edge display technology. Additionally, it features the fifth-generation flexible under-display camera technology.
Driving the phone's performance is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, accompanied by a generous configuration of up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and storage options extending up to 1TB of UFS 4.0. The rear of the device showcases an AG flash-sand glass, adorned with millions of micron-level crystal structures. This design choice imparts a flowing silver metallic texture to the phone, contributing to a cyberpunk futuristic aesthetic.
The edges feature an aerospace-grade metal middle frame and incorporate user-friendly customizable sliding keys. These keys offer five functions—photo capture, mute, recording, flashlight, and game space—allowing easy customization and activation through a single toggle. Notably, this marks Nubia's inaugural phone to boast IP68 ratings, indicating resilience to dust and water.
Apart from the standard Black and Silver variants, an exclusive Starry Sky Collector’s Edition is also available only in China. Inspired by Van Gogh’s "Starry Night," this edition employs a starry sky micro-etching process on the glass. Coupled with sophisticated technological overlays, it delivers a glasses-free 3D star effect.
The device is equipped with a formidable 6000mAh silicon carbon negative electrode super battery, a significant upgrade from its predecessor's 5000mAh capacity. Furthermore, it supports rapid 80W wired charging, ensuring efficient and speedy replenishment of the battery.
