Right at the heels of Nubia Z11 MiniS launch, the older nubia Z11 Mini has made its way to India. The Z11 Mini sports a 5-inch 1080p display with Gorilla Glass 3 Protection running on the Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor. With its 2.5D arc design, you get smooth glass curves on the front as well as the back with a rounded metal frame which makes the phone easier to hold.
There's 3GB RAM on the device and 32GB of onboard storage which is expandable with microSD cards up to 200GB. On the connectivity front, there's 4G LTE support on FDD bands 1, 2, 5 6, 8, 20 along with TDD-LTE band 40. Then you have the usual WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Compass support as well.
All this still runs on the dated Android 5.1 Lollipop with the company's own nubia UI 3.9.6.
On the camera front, you have a 16MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture with Sony's IMX298 sensor, PDAF support. This is the same sensor used on the OnePlus 3. In the front, there's an 8MP camera with f/2.4 aperture lens and Sony IMX179 sensor. A fingerprint sensor can also be found on the back of the phone.
The nubia Z11 Mini weighs in at 138 grams packing a 2800 mAh non-removable battery in a relatively thin 8mm thin shell. The cameras seem to be the most interesting part of the smartphone and the pricing is also quite competitive given you have the Moto G4 Plus with similar specs priced much higher.
