Nubia has launched its new flagship gaming smartphones the RedMagic 8S Pro and RedMagic 8S Pro+ in China, as they promised. Both have a 6.8-inch BOE OLED screen with up to 120Hz refresh rate, 960Hz multi-finger screen touch sampling rate, 1440Hz PWM dimming + DC dimming, 1300 nits brightness, 93.7% screen-to-body ratio and have In-display fingerprint sensor with heart rate detection.
Both phones run on the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Advanced Edition with clocked speeds up to 3.36GHz, up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 1TB storage UFS4.0 storage, and are based on Android 13 with Redmagic OS 8.0. The company says that it has scored 1713658 points on AnTuTu.
Equipped with the ICE 12.0 magic cooling system, the phones incorporate a built-in fan and a full-through air duct, along with a 3D ice-level dual pump and a super large VC liquid cooling system. Additionally, they feature graphene under the screen and up to 10 layers of cooling materials, resulting in a significant surface temperature reduction of 17° C across the entire device body.
These devices come equipped with an integrated gaming chip called "Red Core R2," which enhances various gaming features such as shoulder keys, vibrations, game lighting effects, and sound effects. They also feature 520Hz touch sampling shoulder triggers, a 960Hz multi-finger screen touch sampling rate, an X-axis linear motor, and high-quality audio output with 1115K+1216 ultra-linear stereo speakers. Additionally, they incorporate Snapdragon Sound technology, enabling up to 96kHz output with an impressively low latency of 48ms.
The phones have a triple rear camera setup where a 50MP 1/1.57-inch Samsung GN5 sensor along with an 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro camera, and a 16MP OmniVision under-screen front-facing camera. The RedMagic 8S Pro is powered by a 6000mAh battery with 80W fast charging for 100% charge in 35 minutes and the RedMagic 8S Pro+ has a 5000mAh battery that supports 165W charging, which can charge up to 100% in 14 minutes.
The company also introduced the RedMagic 8S Pro+ Bumblebee Super Warriors Collectors Edition, a special variant customized to showcase the Transformers character Bumblebee. This edition includes exclusive features such as a Bumblebee-themed 165W gallium nitride charger, custom Bumblebee badges, Transformers-themed card pins, a specially designed Bumblebee fast charging data cable, a magnetic gaming protective case, a radiator with 4 magnetic suction in the Bumblebee Edition, and a unique Bumblebee customized theme.

The RedMagic 8S Pro and 8S Pro+ will be available from July 11th in China and the pre-order has started now. The Bumblebee Edition will be available in early August.
