Nothing has officially launched its first open wearable stereo (OWS) earbuds, the Nothing Ear (open) in the Global market including India, following a series of teasers. According to the company, the Ear (open) is powered by its Open Sound Technology, offering an immersive audio experience while allowing users to stay aware of their surroundings.
The earbuds feature a custom patent-pending diaphragm, a titanium coating, an ultra-light driver, and a stepped design. The custom shape reduces distortion and enhances low frequencies, while the titanium coating delivers crisp high notes. The ear hook incorporates a nickel-titanium wire, making it both flexible and durable.
Additionally, an automatic Bass Enhance algorithm optimizes low frequencies for deeper bass. The earbuds come with ChatGPT integration, similar to other models, and include Clear Voice Technology for high-quality calls, even in noisy environments. The device also uses AI-enhanced processing, trained on over 28 million noise scenarios. It offers up to 30 hours of total playback or 24 hours of talk time, with 10 minutes of charging providing 2 hours of playback.

The Nothing Ear (open) is available in white color and the price is $149 (approximately Rs. 12,460), £129, or €149, depending on the region. Global sales begin on October 1st, with pre-orders opening today. In India, however, the earbuds are priced higher at Rs. 17,999.
