HMD Global is working on its upcoming new rugged smartphone the Nokia XR21, as per Winfuture.de. This smartphone will be the upgrade version of the Nokia XR20 that was launched last year. It also revealed the full specifications of the upcoming smartphone where the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G octa-core chip with a clock speed of up to 2.2Ghz, 6GB of RAM, and 128 GB of internal flash memory.
The Nokia XR21 also features a 6.49-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. The front camera has a 16-megapixel sensor with an F/2.45 aperture located in the center of the panel. The back cameras consist of a 64MP primary camera with Omnivision and an 8MP sensor with zoom optics. The device is protected by durable Corning Gorilla Glass Victus cover protection.
The device supports older versions of Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and WiFi 6, as well as two NanoSIM slots and eSIM, also includes a 3.5 mm jack for headphones and weighs 235 grams. This device is based on Android 12, and HMD Global has plans to provide operating system updates until May 2026, with security updates for an additional year.
The Nokia XR21 5G is certified as waterproof and dustproof according to IP68 and is powered by a 4800mAh battery that supports up to 33W fast charging. The Nokia XR21 is a sturdy and powerful smartphone with impressive features for those who need a durable device.

The price of the device is expected around US$499 (Rs. 40,760 approx.) and it will be available in Green and Black colors. But, the exact launch date and price of the phone are not revealed yet.
