Nokia is going to launch the successor of the Nokia X on June 24, at present its dubbed as the Nokia X2 running on Android. In a post titled "Green With Envy" Nokia all but said that the Nokia X2 is coming with a ticking clock counting down to the launch event.
The specifications are a bit unclear at the moment, but it was last seen on AnTuTu benchmarks which showed that the Nokia X2 features a 1.2 dual-core Snapdragon 200 SoC with Adreno 302 GPU with 1 GB RAM running a customized build of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Nokia X2 is probably going to also feature a 4.3-inch WVGA display with a 5 MP primary camera as well as a 0.3 MP front-facing camera.
We reviewed the original Nokia X but came away a bit underwhelmed with its performance and overall responsiveness, but as usual it had excellent build and a good display. We will be bringing in more on the Nokia X2 when it launches.
